My short story Sheena up a Mountain Wearing Flip-flops is getting two airings today, in print and on web radio.
It appears in the Radgepacket II* anthology, from Byker Books, the official launch of which is at 6 this evening at Borders in Gateshead. The anthology is available for £5.99 (incl P&P) direct from publishers or from Amazon. It's a pretty good read if you can get your hands on a copy, put together by a bunch of guys with (I think) a pretty admirable commitment to short fiction. Needless to say they probably won't earn a penny at it, but I don't think that's their point. Definitely worth buying this. And not just for Sheena.
And my faux scouse reading of Sheena is being broadcast at www.radiowildfire.com at some point between 6pm and 8pm this evening (then in their perpetual playback loop soon after). Like Byker Books, Radio Wildfire is a similar labour of love, this time based in Birmingham. Definitely worth a listen. Again, not just for Sheena.
