Ravi Mangla sent me a link to this blog. Fantastic title but it was new to me, and on 6th December they linked to my flash piece Undo (published on Lit Up the other week) as their #1 top read for the week.

You need proof. Here you go...

I was talking to a close friend this evening. He told me he's been following my blog-of-sorts.

Now there's a thing. I never expected it to be read. Even my wife doesn't read it.

You don't do you, dear? Do you?

So that's one then.

Ruddy nora.

Now that I have a reader I suppose I should start writing some sense.

I fear the future. I wanted to share that fear. The shape of things to come. On Litro. Now.

(scroll down a bit - I'm at the bottom)

Online today. In print tomorrow. 100,000 copies of me being handed out at stations and libraries and things all over London.

Enjoy. And be afraid.

Daft piece of mine just published on Lit Up Magazine.

Do not expect great enlightenment.

'snot bad though.

Some pertinent words from Steve Finbow...

http://theglasshombre.blogspot.com/2008/11/oi-mate-you-spilt-my-beer.html

I spent an interesting Saturday night with fellow writers Steve Finbow, Melissa Mann, David Oprava and Joe Ridgwell. There was much drinking and discussion of the literary urge, although because of the former I recall little of the latter. I think some of it has perhaps sunk in, subconsciously.

My short short, "The rest is harvest" just went up on elimae.

I'm quite chuffed.

You can find it here.

I'm reading "Something Three" at Sparks in Brighton tonight. Venue: Upstairs at the Three and Ten. Starts: 8pm. Price £5 on the door.

Also reading (or being read) are Steve Finbow, Melissa Mann, Sara Crowley, Joel Willans, Jo Horsman and Anna Britten.

A neat twist on the usual reading setup is that a themed image will be projected behind the reader for each story. I think I caught a glimpse of mine on Jo H's Facebook the other day but I can't be sure...

It's National Poetry Day and my poem-of-sorts is up on Ink Sweat & Tears...
